Alma Hybrid CO₂ Laser – Advanced Fractional Laser Technology For Skin Resurfacing And Renewal
The Alma Hybrid CO₂ Laser is an advanced fractional laser system available at Dermagen Clinic for customised skin resurfacing treatments.
This technology combines different laser wavelengths within a single platform, allowing our practitioners to tailor treatment intensity based on individual skin concerns, skin type and desired downtime.
All treatments are performed following a comprehensive consultation to determine suitability.
Why Clients Choose Us
Advanced Laser Technology
We use professional fractional laser systems designed to deliver controlled and precise skin resurfacing treatments.
Comfort-focused Care
Treatments are performed in a professional clinical environment with client comfort and safety prioritised throughout the process.
Personalised Skin Programs
Every treatment plan is tailored to your individual skin concerns, goals, and recovery preferences.
Soft Lift (low downtime option) - SoftLift is a non-ablative laser treatment using the 1570 nm wavelength on the Alma Hybrid platform. It delivers controlled thermal energy into the deeper layers of the skin to support collagen remodelling while leaving the skin surface intact. SoftLift is suitable for patients seeking a gradual approach to skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime.
A course of 2–4 treatments spaced approximately 4 weeks apart may be recommended depending on individual needs.

Hybrid Lift - Hybrid Lift combines fractional CO₂ and non-ablative 1570 nm laser energy using the HyGrid delivery system on the Alma Hybrid platform. This customised approach is designed to address both surface skin concerns and deeper collagen remodelling, supporting improvements in skin texture, quality and the appearance of early signs of ageing.
A course of 1–2 treatments spaced approximately 4–6 weeks apart may be recommended.

PixelPeel Light / Summer CO₂ - PixelPeel is a light fractional CO₂ resurfacing protocol designed to support skin renewal and improve the appearance of texture, tone and overall skin quality. Using conservative fractional CO₂ settings, PixelPeel provides a lighter resurfacing approach for patients seeking skin rejuvenation with a shorter recovery period than more intensive CO₂ treatments.

Scar Revision - Scar Revision using the Alma Hybrid platform is designed to support the gradual remodelling and improvement of scar tissue. It may be considered for certain surgical, traumatic, burn, post-procedural and acne scars, including scars that appear indented, raised, discoloured or uneven in texture. Treatment settings can be customised according to the type, depth and characteristics of the scar.
A series of 3–4 treatments spaced approximately 4 weeks apart may be recommended.

The Fact
Fractional laser treatments work by creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin, which stimulate the body’s natural healing response. Over time, this process may support improvements in skin texture and overall skin quality as part of a structured treatment plan.
How Alma Hybrid CO₂ Laser Works
The Alma Hybrid platform combines two complementary laser wavelengths:
-
CO₂ laser (10,600 nm): used for fractional skin resurfacing of the outer layers of the skin
-
1570 nm laser: delivers controlled thermal energy to support dermal remodelling
In addition, the system includes sonophoresis technology, which may assist in enhancing the delivery of topical skincare applied during treatment.
The combination allows for adjustable treatment depth and intensity depending on individual needs.
