Tattoo removal
Laser tattoo removal is a medical procedure used to gradually reduce the appearance of unwanted tattoos using targeted laser energy. The treatment is non-invasive and is performed over a series of sessions, with results varying depending on the individual and tattoo characteristics.
Most tattoos require between 5–15 sessions or more for significant fading or removal. The number of treatments needed will depend on factors such as the size, colour, age, ink depth, and location of the tattoo, as well as individual skin response.
The laser works by breaking down tattoo ink particles into smaller fragments, which are then gradually cleared by the body’s immune system over time.
