Alma CLearVein is a long-pulse laser used for a long term non-invasive cosmetic treatment to reduce the appearance of vascular lesions and deep veins.

The laser uses infrared light into the target area. The light energy is then absorbed by the oxyhemoglobin with relatively low absorption by the melanin pigment. Once absorbed, the temperature within the abnormal blood vessels increases causing it to shrink.

The treatment can be combined with IPL (Dye VL PRO) for smaller veins and capillaries. Both these technologies selectively target the problem blood vessels beneath the skin while cooling the skin surface thereby providing safe and effective long term results.

A full facial treatment would take between 20-30 minutes, depending on the size of the area.

We recommend 3 - 6 treatments with 3 - 4 weeks apart.

The downtime is generally minimal. After undergoing vein laser therapy, it's common for patients to experience mild bruising, swelling, or discomfort in the treated area. These side effects usually subside within a few days or weeks. Most patients can resume their normal activities immediately after the procedure, although strenuous exercise and heavy lifting may be advised to be avoided for a short period.
